Imagine that your body is like a symphony of natural elements: ether, air, fire, water and earth . These elements combine in different proportions in each individual, giving rise to three main doshas : Vata, Pitta and Kapha.
These doshas are the vital energies that govern our body and mind, and knowing them gives you deep insight into your unique nature.
Vata : This dosha is associated with the elements ether and air. Think of Vata as the energy of movement and creativity. If you are Vata -dominant , you are likely to be thin, have an active and creative mind, but you may also experience anxiety, dry skin, and occasional digestive problems.
Pitta : Here the elements fire and water come into play. Pitta represents the energy of transformation and metabolism.
